Become a volunteer
Over the course of seven decades, ISB has benefitted from a proud and strong tradition of service. From the inaugural group of parent, military, and embassy representatives who formed the school’s first Board of Trustees in 1951, to the PTA that staged the first International Festival in 1977, to the countless parents that have given back over many years to the athletics and arts programmes, the ISB community has been at the heart of shaping and delivering the ISB experience.
Since 1977, the school has gathered together to celebrate the diverse nature of the ISB community. Organised by a vast team of volunteer parents, the food, music, performances is always an amazing testament to how international and integrated this school community really is.
Our Family Association helps welcome families into our community, encourages parents to participate in a wide array of activities and events, facilitates volunteerism, provides different types of support to families, and hosts celebrations of this community's diversity. Needless to say, our Family Association is a remarkable group of parent volunteers who have a very positive impact on this community.
