ISB Students come 3rd in ISMTF Senior Math Competition

Over the weekend of 17 March, six ISB High School students from Grade 10 to 12, took part in the ISMTF (International Schools Mathematics Teacher Foundation) Senior Math Competition in Vienna, Austria.

At this year's competition, there were 37 international schools from across Europe and the Middle East. The competition consists of individual and team rounds.

209 students participated in the individual competition, out of which three ISB students placed in the top 20 (the top 10%) - Minji Park came in 7th place, Kevin Chen came in 3rd place, and Soham Sinha came in at 2nd place!

70 teams participated in the team competition - our team of Chan Ho Park, Minji Park and Siyuan Shen placed 16th overall, and our team of Kevin Chen, Kangmin Jeong and Soham Sinha placed 3rd overall! Both teams were in the top 25%.

These students have been working every week since the beginning of the school year to prepare for this competition, and they have worked incredibly hard.

Congratulations to all the students involved for their outstanding achievements!
