Celebrating our school spirit with Homecoming

Last week, our ISB Community rallied together, with festive spirits in tow, echoing cheers, and a sea of red in the stands and fields, to celebrate our wonderful tradition of Homecoming and support our amazing athletes.

Things kicked off on Friday afternoon with the Spirit Assembly, that saw ISB students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members gathering on the Upper Field to witness the beginning of this year's celebrations.

At ISB, Homecoming isn't just another event, it underscores the importance of bringing the entire community together to acknowledge, share, and highlight our heritage.

"The incredible turnout and support from the entire community, all the way from the ECC and ES parents to our older students parents and athletes, was incredible. The school spirit celebrated by our current community was truly reinforced by the number of alumni who 'came home' to show their everlasting ISB school spirit. It was such a happy occasion to witness", recalled Emma Zigan, Chief Development Officer at ISB.

It is a celebration of community values, a place to express our school spirit with family, peers, and colleagues alike, and also a great opportunity to reconnect with friends, old and new.

Homecoming keeps reminding us that celebrating each other is the perfect way to reflect on our progress and success we have created, and also envision for the upcoming year.

We wish to thank all participants and community members that lended their incredible efforts to make Homecoming 2018 a success! We look forward to next year's celebrations, and hope to see everyone there!
