Learning in Action

Challenge is such a vast concept. It was important for us to start being very explicit by what we mean when we talk about Challenge at ISB. We know that our work is a learning process, one that has its successes but also struggles, one that keeps on evolving.

Teaching social justice, teaching active anti-racism, teaching the importance of standing up for the human rights of all peoples, are essential aspects of who we are as a school. Join us as we explore some of this year’s learning journeys at ISB in the area of social justice.

As a future-oriented school, ISB gives each student opportunities to customize their learning journey in ways that are relevant for their individual success. In this publication we celebrate how ISB's mission of inclusion, challenge, and success supports different learning paths.

The third Learning in Action issue is live and it covers the theme of Fear. The goal is to open a window for all of us to embrace our fears, and remember: It is ok to be afraid!

The second edition of Learning in Action is a celebration of the creativity and strength of members of our community to continue embracing the unpredictable despite challenging circumstances.

Although lockdown and distance learning gave us a moment to question the very fundamentals of what we once considered "normal". Do we want to go back to what we were?
