- ISB Annual Report 2020/21
  This year we celebrate an extraordinary milestone: 70 years of ISB. As we look ahead with hope and ambition at a future we are already creating for our students and our school, we also want to acknowledge all of the remarkable people that have helped shape who we are today.

Admissions
- Choosing the right school
  Opened in 2018, the ISB Experience Room offers a unique, interactive experience for the entire family. It was designed to help families think about what is important when choosing a school, as well as to introduce our school in an innovative and engaging way.

Learning
- The ISB Learning Journey
  The ISB learning journey supports students from Preschool to Grade 12. The school is divided into four divisions, each of which is specially designed to provide an environment in which students can engage, connect, innovate and be empowered.

  We believe in our Mission of inclusion. We welcome students with diverse learning needs and understand the complexity and mutual benefit of being a truly inclusive school. We are proactive and responsive in the development of each child’s needs through a multidisciplinary team based approach.
Campus Life
- Settled in a green forest
  Set in the heart of the Forêt de Soignes, Kattenberg 19 has been the home of ISB since 1953. Today, the ISB Campus is a modern, vibrant learning community, a place to make new friends, and a home away from home for many families.

  The ISB bus service remains the most popular and recommended mode of transport for our students travelling between home and school each day. With more than 25 buses, serving routes towards most parts of the city and surrounding areas, the benefits are clear.

Swimming

ISB has a swimming programme that consists of a Senior Team (Grade 7-12) and a Junior Team (Grade 3-6). Both of these teams practice off campus at the nearby VUB pool. The Senior Team practices four days a week in the mornings. Swimmers are dropped off by parents and brought to school by bus. The Junior Team practises two mornings and one afternoon per week with parents picking the swimmers up at the pool following afternoon training. Both teams compete in a series of meets hosted at international schools around Europe. The Senior Team then competes in the Varsity ISST Championship Meet and the Junior Team participates in the Belgium Junior Championships.
