What is GIVING TUESDAY?

GIVING TUESDAY is an international day to celebrate all kinds of giving, be it for your school, university, your club, your favourite charity or individual cause. ISB has joined this global movement to celebrate giving and the generosity we have as a community who care not only for enhancing our school but for supporting our local community and others as well. Over 100 countries are involved in this global movement and ISB will be the first school in Belgium to take the initiative.

On #GIVINGTUESDAY, 27 November 2018, ISB celebrated all different kinds of giving: from giving time and talent as a volunteer or mentor, to monetary gifts as a donor, to acts of service and exploring the nature of giving, generosity and philanthropy.

ISB students packed hygiene kits to give out to homeless people in Brussels. There was an opportunity for everyone to share a message around their personal giving experience.

I give because I can.
I give because I want to give.
I give because of my responsibility as an international citizen.
