A trained, responsible bus monitor is present on every ISB school bus. All bus monitors are ISB students from grades 9 to 12. Maintaining timely communication with parents is a priority for us. In the event of any traffic delay or disruption to the service, an SMS notification with further information will be sent to the relevant parents.
Our students’ safety is our main concern at ISB. For this reason, since the 2023/24 school year we use BatOnRoute. This application, which specialises in school transportation management, provides additional security and useful real-time information on all of our bus routes, enhancing the communication both for the school and the parents.
The ISB bus service is available to children in Kindergarten to grade 12, although Pre-Kindergarten students may be allowed on the bus when accompanied by an older sibling. The school does not offer a reimbursement of the bus fees for inability to use the service. For families needing support in paying the annual bus fee, ISB offers a payment plan that allows payment in instalments across the school year. Please contact the Finance Office for more information.
