Since 1980, ISB has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and by the Council of International Schools.
There is ample evidence indicating ISB is a very inclusive and international school, one that truly advocates for all children and genuinely endorses the notion of student wellbeing and agency.
These aspects of the school’s guiding statements seems to be fairly well realized and, indeed, ISB continues to be well respected throughout the world for taking a lead role in fulfilling these components.

As we look back on the 2017-18 school year, the journey we took together as a community is clearly rooted in our Mission. But equally we can point to the influence of our clear learning definitions, research-based learning principles, strategic areas of focus, and overarching community values. It is this interconnected Learning Network that makes the ISB experience and community truly unique, and truly ours.
