is a ‘not for profit' organization, governed by a Board of Trustees.
Members of the Board are guardians of the school's mission and are
responsible for its financial health and long-term strategy.

Leadership
at ISB is currently defined in terms of moral purpose, coherence
making, relationship building, knowledge creation and sharing and
understanding change.
Increasingly, the role of those leading the
school is also understood in terms of teamwork, with two central teams
dealing with education and operations.
