Dear Friends, Welcome to the ISB Profile.  I very much hope that the pages will give you a broader picture of the organization, as well as highlight some of things that make this school and our community so special.

Looking back on a year in which our graduating students achieved record scores in their IB examination results, much credit must go to the teachers who work tirelessly to provide our children with a truly world-class learning environment. And whilst we are always looking for ways to improve the quality of teaching and learning at ISB, it remains clear to me that the teachers, with support from the staff and leadership team, do continue to provide an environment in which our children are truly ‘included, challenged and successful’.

Apart from the many student achievements we can look back on, this year was also a particularly significant year for ISB in that we undertook a complete Self-Study for our Re-Accreditation with the Council of International Schools and the Middle States Association of Schools and Colleges. At the same time, a major global economic crisis obliged us to reassess all our financial assumptions.

On many fronts, then, ISB continues to go from strength to strength - as is borne out by information contained in this profile. I invite you to take the time to look through this information and, in additional to answering any questions, welcome any comments or feedback you may have.
