Where did the ISB curriculum ‘come from' ?

As an international school, with a diverse range of cultures, no single national curriculum fits our needs. We have therefore designed our own, adapting our standards from a number of highly dependable sources, which include:

• The McRel Standards: a synthesis of US national standards with standards from other national systems
• The Primary, Middle and Diploma programmes of the International Baccalaureate Organisation
• The Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Standards that drive the global Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) Study
• The International Schools Assessment Programme
