ISB is committed to a complete and balanced education for all children. Central to the ISB learning experience is therefore an innovative and dynamic arts programme.

Music, theatre arts, visual arts and dance are a regular part of life at ISB.  Apart from the intrinsic value of these activities at all levels, however, we believe that the arts enrich our understanding of the world and also help students learn the dispositions for a successful and fulfilled life: being part of a team; collaboration; shared responsibility; focus and the importance of disciplined rehearsal and performance.

Athletics

The Mission of the ISB Athletic Department is to esnure that all  the students have the opportunity to participate and experience the benefits of sport, while being a part of a team. Our sports programme is competitive and one of the most successful in Europe.

ISB competes in the ISSTs, DoDDS and CESSIB conferences and, as a result, offers more team sport opportunities than any other school in Europe.

ISB also enjoys a close relationship with the Brussels Sports Association (BSA) and recently founded an intramural sports programme for the Middle School Students.
