Welcome to the ISB website

The International School of Brussels (ISB) has a long and distinguished history as the premier English-medium international school in Belgium.  Founded in 1951, it is the oldest and, with nearly 1550 students, it is also the largest. Of course, longevity and scale do not guarantee quality, but, in the case of ISB, sixty years of operation have been sixty years of sustained progress. 

The foundation of this progress has been a governance structure designed to bring continuity and a combined intelligence to the process of developing and delivering of a clear vision for international education. At the heart of this vision is a commitment to the highest levels of learning and teaching. ISB has always attracted a faculty of highly qualified and dedicated teachers whose knowledge of their craft and commitment to their students are central to our success.
