Joe Gould
Director of Development
Joe came to ISB in 2011 as director of development after 20 years at St. George’s School (Newport, RI, USA) as assistant head of school for external affairs. Previously, he had practiced law (Norfolk, VA, USA) and served as director of alumni affairs at Phillips Exeter Academy (Exeter, NH, USA). A native of New England (USA), Joe is a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy, Harvard University, and Boston College Law School. He and his wife Jennifer have three married children and three grandchildren. They live in Uccle.

Carine Morin
Database Coordinator
Carine is a graduate from the Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. Before she joined ISB in 2006, she worked in Washington D.C. and studied at Boston College, USA. A French native, she appreciates the diversity at ISB and the challenges of doing fundraising with such a transient community.

Catherine Dickinson
Alumni and Event Co-ordinator
Catherine comes to ISB with 15 years experience in event and project management in the UK education, arts and museums sector. Her career has included working for Streatley Hill Pre-school, Berkshire; Manchester City Art Gallery; The Harris Museum and Art Gallery, Preston; The Centre for Visual Arts, Cardiff, Wales; and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Scotland. She specialised in Museum and Art Gallery Studies as a post-graduate and went on to organise international touring exhibitions and associated events for the public. Most recently, as Director of Streatley Hill Pre-school, she lead a capital redevelopment fundraising campaign, resulting in a new learning-led building which opened in 2011. She is married with two small daughters. She and her family left the UK for Brussels in early 2012 and have a home in Ixelles.

Brian Howard
Annual Fund Coordinator
Brian is excited to join the ISB community after 6 years in higher education development in the United States. He began his career at Elon University in North Carolina, holding positions in annual giving, donor relations, and development research. Most recently, he served as a prospect manager at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts, working closely with development officers on fundraising strategies. In addition to his interests in education development, Brian has performed throughout the United States as a classical cellist. He holds degrees in music and English literature from Oberlin Conservatory and College.
