The ISB learning experience is designed as a continuous journey of self-development from Nursery to High School graduation. We believe that every year spent at ISB is a unique opportunity for your child to engage with a coherent curriculum that is developmentally appropriate, tailored to your child's individual learning needs, and preparative for a world beyond school.

Advisory

While the heart of our programme is "academic", we are equally committed to our belief that an education is more than an assemblage of academic learning. Our school is a community that builds character, a dedication to service and a range of "life skills", from strategic awareness to collaborative leadership. These aspects of learning are delivered and supported through our Advisory Programme, within which small teams of students meet regularly with their Advisory Teacher to plan projects, work in teams and receive advice and support on their own learning as they progress through ISB.

Arts

We believe that the "aesthetic response" within all of us should be nurtured and cultivated and we offer a wide range of opportunities across the arts for students to develop their creativity, acquire llife-long skills and enjoy performance. Our programme covers visual art and performing arts, including music and theatre.

Athletics

We believe that all of us need to develop positive attitudes towards health, fitness, competiont and collaboration that, again, will serve us through life. ISB offers the most extensive competitve athletics programme in Europe, with many High School Students deeply involved in sports.

An introduction to the High School

The High School serves a diverse student body with a wide range of needs, talents, interests and futures. We offer them a rich, varied programme designed to meet our mission of inclusion, challenge and success for every student. Briefly put, the programme comprises the following four complementary elements of academics, advisory, arts and athletics.

Academics

- The International Baccalaureate Diploma (IBDP)
- The Advanced Placement Programme (AP)
- The ISB Diploma
- The Individualized Diploma
