The ISB Family Association extends a warm welcome to you! As soon as your child becomes a student at ISB, your family becomes part of the Family Association. The Family Association – or “FA”, as we call it – is run by a team of volunteer parents. Our mission is to build a well-informed school community where all families are welcome, all families are encouraged to participate, and all nationalities are celebrated.

A well-informed community
The Family Association tries to create and maintain open channels of communication to and from families. You’ll hear about upcoming events in our regular “Newsflash” email, as well as from the representatives of each of the schools and on the website. In addition, the Family Association plays a vital role in ensuring that parents’ voices are heard up to the highest level of the ISB Administration and Board.

A warm welcome
From the first days of school, the FA will welcome you with a family barbecue, a champagne brunch and several informal morning coffees. ISB is a friendly place and these activities are planned to make you feel welcome and well-informed right away, and to help you belong quickly to a supportive group of friends.

Something for everyone
The families of ISB represent many nationalities, cultures and languages. Part of the fun is getting to know and better understand the 70 different countries here at the school! What better place than our International Festival in the spring? There is truly something for everyone all year long!
