From the Director

As we near the end of our first semester this school year, I cannot help but once again think about the power of the extended ISB community I've witnessed over these past few months. We talked a lot last school year about alumni 'coming home' to your ISB... and, indeed, approximately 300 of you did show up at our front door to join in the 65th Anniversary and Homecoming Celebration in October!

ISB's 65th Anniversary & Homecoming Celebrations A Weekend to Remember!

ISB´s long-awaited 65th Anniversary & Homecoming weekend was a huge success. Over three hundred alumni - many coming from afar - as well as current students, faculty, and parents connected (and especially re-connected) during three joyful days of celebrations. In this article ISB Staff Member Robin Berting describes the great weekend.

A Photographic Trip Down Memory Lane

At the end of October, a group of ISB former faculty and staff (Eliane Van Stichel, Tom Smith, Linda Tylke, Mary Ferguson, James Bell, Angela Purcell and Frances Bekhechi) took a nostalgic trip down memory lane, thanks to an 'Identify the Photos' Party that was organised by the ISB Alumni Office.

A 70s Reunion in Dallas To Remember

They say things are bigger in Texas. If the 1970's alumni gathering in Dallas in October was any indication, that saying may just be true. Jim Turner explains how what began as a quaint idea for the Class of '76 to commemorate their 40-year reunion ballooned into 104 alumni, teachers, administrators and guests from 27 states (and 3 countries) celebrating our shared connection.

Celebrating Difference at International

On Saturday, 19 November the entire ISB community came out in full force to be a part of the 41st Annual International Festival. International Festival is one of ISB's most beloved traditions and hundreds of students of all ages, parents, faculty and staff members packed the gyms and ate sushi, dumplings and gelato, drank Guinness beer and Taiwanese tea, watched beautiful dances, played cricket outside and learned to play the bagpipes.
